About Us

Our History

FABERtechnica was born in 2001, as Marco Frascarolo was contacted by a well-known and inspired photographer / entrepreneur intending to buy the General Electric complex in Milan to transform it into flexible spaces dedicated to music recording and listening. The feasibility study required the synthesis of different skills, among which the key elements were architectural acoustics and communication based on light and multimedia.

The collaboration led Marco Frascarolo, engineer, lover of light and sound, to join the group of teachers of an avant-garde school, whose focus is synaesthesia as the basis of any creative process, the University of the Image of Milan, founded by Fabrizio Ferri himself. That distant 2001, lays the foundations for today’s FABERtechnica di oggi, through a constant renewal of resources and working methods – thanks to the permeability with the RomaTre School of Architecture and Master in Lighting Design of Sapienza – always faithful to the initial spirit, a forge of knowledge and skills, which the digital convergence that has marked these 20 years, has made a reality.

Light, with its functional, environmental, social and communication values has always been the common thread of our activities.
