McKim Medal Gala, American Academy in Rome

Founded by the American Academy in Rome in 2005, the McKim Medal is an annual recognition aimed at recognizing individuals who have contributed significantly to the arts, humanities and culture through their work. Proceeds from the McKim Medal Gala annually support the scholarships of the American Academy in Rome which offers artists and scholars of Italian nationality the unique opportunity to live and work within the vibrant cultural community of the Academy. Our intervention concerned the lighting project for the Gala evening, held at Villa Aurelia in Rome on 7 June 2023, the choice of technologies, the assistance and the setting up of the lights for the event.
